 PASA members oversee the 17 sanctuaries in Africa that house gorilla/chimpanzee/bonobo and other primates that were orphaned because of the bushmeat trade. It costs $1.50 a day to feed an orphaned gorilla or chimp in these sanctuaries. The sanctuaries often act as education centers as well.
